Hi, I’m alice horrell.

In our productivity-driven society, it is easy to find yourself with the accelerator down and lose sight of what is going on in the present as you chase the future. When I hit the brakes in my own life, I rediscovered my purpose and desires for my life. This resulted in a lot of changes. I was working away in a successful career as an emergency physician. I loved my work. I cared for people in their times of need, some in the darkest moments of their life. I used my knowledge and skills to assess situations quickly and come up with solutions for what was in front of me. I loved being at the bedside for my patients. However, this career was not allowing me to be the person I wanted to be in places outside of my job, and it certainly was not lending itself to a healthy lifestyle for me. So in 2021, I resigned from my position as an emergency physician, took some time to be with my family, did my own personal growth work, and discovered some amazing things.

As an executive coach I find great fulfillment in working alongside others as they discover more about themselves and work toward their unique goals. My philosophy is where there is a problem, there is also a solution. I believe our solutions lie within ourselves, and I enjoy helping others find theirs. My style is warm and encouraging as I come alongside you while you persist through difficulty into places of growth and joy.

When I am not working as a coach, I am both fulfilled and busy in my role as mother and wife. I also enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures. There is immense blessing that comes from seeing and experiencing different landscapes and cultures. My roots are in the rolling hills of Tennessee, but my favorite place on earth is the Pacific Northwest where I now reside with my family. We steal away into the beautiful nature that surrounds us as often as we can.
